The Good Stuff

Why Matza Roca of course... everyone loves Almond Roca so why not a Pesachedich (spelling does not count) version of it ... and now Stacy is a a maven... she has called all her friends to tell them about it

So this one is real difficult.... yeah right.

1 Cup parev Margarine

1 Cup Brown Sugar

1 Cup parev chocolate chips

1 Cup slivered and then broken almonds (Bubbie is real good with this ingredient, when she has a frying pan)

5-6 slices of Matzah

Set the oven to 350

a jelly roll pan is real good for this one. Line the pan with foil and then place the matzah pieces flat on the pan.

In a small pan melt the margarine and the brown sugar until is is all liquid and Incorporated.

when the margarine brown sugar mixture is ready pour it over the matzah and then back in the oven for 8 minuets. While the matzah is cooking, mix the chocolate chips and the almonds together in a bowl or cup that is easy to hold. Once the matzah has been in the oven for 8 minuets sprinkle the chocolate chip almond mixture over the matzah and put back in the oven for 4 minuets. Once it is done cooking take out the tray and smear the melted chocolate all over the matzah almost like buttering the matzah.

Let the tray cool and then break it up into small pieces put them in a plastic bag and give them out to friends and enjoy.

Happy Passover
