He saw us setting the table first the candle sticks came out and he was watching and then the wine glasses... and finally the challah plate.
and at that point he knew... it was time for Shabbos. He saw Bubbie's seat was still empty so he snuck in.... don't worry he didn't get any of the table food.... 
until blessings were over.
